The Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance (YICGG) is happy to invite students to join the event of YICGG2021 this summer in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, China, with the theme of “Future Community, Youth Creation: Build Smart Cities to Drive Sustainable Development”.
YICGG is an annual internationally oriented student competition for advancing public welfare, aiming to meet the mission of promoting global reform and global governance, sponsored by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in China and organized by the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) of Fudan University.
For participation, you are welcomed to share your insightful thoughts about but not limited to:
1) Science and Technology Innovation;
2) Digital Connectivity;
3) Public Health;
4) Ecological governance;
5) People oriented;
Except issues concerning those topics, YICGG encourages one or two other vital global governance issues to be put forward and those issues will make up We Youth Common Agenda.
Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants can apply individually or as a team of up to 3 members.
Funding: The YICGG committee will book single-way tickets to Shanghai for all the candidates, as well as cover the costs of accommodation, commuting, and certain meals for the four-day final competition.
